It was a balmy night in June in southern california, I was in line waiting for my turn to get a blessing from a great woman saint visiting from India. A lovely woman, sat next to me and made conversation. It went this way, ” do you know about this Yoga event happening this coming Friday in LA?”It was that proud moment where you slide it in as smoothly as possible, yes, I replied, I am the founder. Wow, gasps, really? she continued, I looked at your promo pic and thought it is SSSOOOO Hollywood.” Ha, bingo, mission accomplished! Here we present a collage of some of our behind the scenes shots which didnt make the cut.
As we reminisce about our adventures while putting together one of the largest Yoga festivals in LA. We are reminded of our wonderful team particularly, our event manager, the lovely Lauren Schneider who worked tirelessly to make this event happen. Barely two weeks before the event we did our infamous photoshoot, this shot above almost made the cut.
We hiked up the griffiths observatory with our equipment, models in tow, Lauren leading the way. Grace, our brilliant photographer enjoying the fading light as we kept hiking up. Sun was setting, the scene romantic, we captured some pretty cool shots.
After her great work, Grace discloses that she cant make it for the day of the festival, oh what a bummer, an angel of a being not gracing us with her presence.
I sometimes think Lauren is my twin sister from another mother, maybe twin is stretching it a bit. She always knew exactly what we needed, she is a superwoman, angel and a warrior all in one person. We love you and this festival would not have been possible without you my friend. Thanks to lovely Grace, and our gorgeous models, Nicole and Shannon!!
